Scot Westensee brings more than 42 years of HVAC and refrigeration experience to Stone Heating and Air, where he is a highly respected leader, mentor, and technician. Scot and his wife, Colleen, founded CSW, a company built on integrity, quality workmanship, and customer service. In 2019, CSW was acquired by Matt Stone and became the foundation for Stone Heating and Air. Scot has remained a central part of the company’s success and growth.
Scot began his HVAC career in 1983 at Rogue Valley Manor, starting as a utility person and quickly rising to Chief Engineer, managing a team of nine within just nine months. Over the decades, he has gained extensive experience across all trade areas, including residential and commercial HVAC, refrigeration, electrical systems, pneumatics, and computerized building management systems, even working on 37-story commercial buildings.
Dedicated to advancing the trade, Scot also teaches as the 3rd- and 4th-year instructor for the Service Technician Apprenticeship Program at Rogue Community College, where he mentors and trains the next generation of HVAC professionals.
He believes delivering a great customer experience requires a positive work environment, teamwork, and a strong focus on training and growth. These values have guided him throughout his career and continue to drive his impact today.
When he’s not working, Scot enjoys camping, riding ATVs, racing RC cars, building hot rods, and spending time with his family. Friends would describe him as selfless, knowledgeable, and always willing to lend a helping hand.
