Residential Sales
Position Summary: Responsible for residential sales by establishing and maintaining relationships with customers, offering solutions and options for their heating and cooling needs. The consultant evaluates the existing system and decides which options are available — including a replacement system and ductwork (if needed) — works up the costs associated with the project, and provides the customer with a proposal for the new system. Prepares material lists for crews with signed proposals.
You'll help enforce company policies, monitor OSHA safety requirements, stay up to date with new and discontinued products and equipment/material pricing, and attend trade conferences, trainings, and trade-show booths. Weekly time is 40–50 hours per week. Wages are salary plus commission (salary based on experience).
What We're Looking For
- Clean driving record
- Understanding of heating and air conditioning systems and associated components
- Ability to effectively communicate with clients and employees, and to define problems, issues, and solutions clearly
- Self-starter with strong organizational skills and the ability to multi-task
- Team oriented and knowledgeable in building and construction methods
- Comfortable with computers — Excel, Word, Adobe, and our web-based CRM
- Physical demands: standing, walking, sitting (office and driving); lifting 25–75 lbs (ladders, equipment); occasional overnight travel
